Chinese citizens holding valid ordinary passports may visit Vietnam visa-free as part of organized tourist groups under the 2026–2027 Vietnam–China Tourism Cooperation Year. The measure is set out in Government Resolution No. 325/NQ-CP.
According to the official source, organized tourist groups from China receive a special temporary entry facilitation measure. It may simplify short visits, but it does not replace ordinary visa grounds for independent stays, employment, or relocation. The measure is primarily relevant to Chinese citizens traveling to Vietnam for tourism during 2026–2027. Other foreign nationals and people planning long-term residence do not need to treat it as a relocation rule.
