Foreigners will be able to apply online to extend their Uzbek visa. Applications must be submitted no later than 10 days before the current visa expires.
According to the source, visa extensions are being moved online, while applicants must still apply at least 10 days before their current visa expires. This may make extending a stay easier by reducing the need for in-person procedures, but applicants will need to plan ahead. The change primarily affects foreigners already staying in Uzbekistan under a visa. It is worth noting for anyone planning a longer stay and tracking visa deadlines.
