Since 1 May 2025, foreigners entering Thailand by any mode of transport and under any visa must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card. The form is submitted online free of charge within three days before arrival through the official portal.
According to the sources, the TDAC is now a mandatory pre-arrival form for every foreign entry, regardless of visa type or transport mode. For someone relocating, this adds another item to the travel checklist: the form must be completed within the three-day window before arrival. It applies to tourists, digital nomads, workers and long-term residents alike, rather than to a single visa route. Every foreign traveller should therefore include it in their arrival preparation.
