Ukrainians in Poland can apply for the CUKR card through MOS 2.0

Published: 23.06.2026

From 4 May 2026, Ukrainian citizens can apply for a CUKR card through the MOS 2.0 system. The card provides unrestricted access to the Polish labour market and allows business activity in Poland.

According to the source, the CUKR card creates a separate route for Ukrainians in Poland to legalise their stay through the MOS 2.0 electronic system while obtaining unrestricted access to employment and business activity. For people already in Poland and planning a longer-term relocation, this may reduce dependence on a specific employer and make a transition to self-employment easier. The measure primarily affects Ukrainian citizens covered by Poland’s special migration arrangements. They should consider this route when planning an extension of status or a change of residence basis.
