Kyrgyzstan Temporarily Changes Procedures for Foreigners’ Visas, Unified Permits and Residence Cards

According to sources, foreigners who need both residence and employment authorization may use a single permit covering both matters. Until the end of 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will process documents related to the employment of foreign nationals, while several earlier rules in this area are suspended. This is particularly important for workers and people planning a long-term move with employment, who must account for the temporary nature of the procedure. The change is less significant for tourists and short-term visitors.
