Belarus’ ERIP payment system now allows the state fee for residence or stay registration to be paid to a single budget account, regardless of which Interior Ministry unit processes the application. The arrangement applies to Belarusian citizens and foreigners holding permanent residence in Belarus.
According to the sources, applicants no longer need to identify a separate payment account linked to a particular district or police unit: the state fee for residence registration can be paid through a single ERIP account. This does not change eligibility or document requirements, but it removes a practical administrative obstacle. The change is most useful for foreigners with permanent residence who need to complete the relevant registration procedure. Its significance for short-term visitors is limited, so it mainly matters when arranging permanent residence or registering a place of residence.
