From 15 February 2026 through 15 February 2027, citizens of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain may enter Azerbaijan visa-free up to three times and stay for up to 30 days per visit. Travel for non-tourism purposes or stays longer than 30 days require an appropriate visa or residence permission.
According to the source, the measure temporarily lowers the entry barrier for short visits by citizens of four Gulf states, but it does not replace the long-term immigration process. Relocation, employment or stays exceeding 30 days require an appropriate visa or residence permission. The rule also requires registration at the place of stay when a foreigner remains in the country for more than 15 days. It is particularly relevant to nationals of the listed states planning an exploratory visit or a later application for long-term status.
