From February 15, 2026, through February 15, 2027, ordinary passport holders from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain may enter Azerbaijan visa-free up to three times and stay for up to 30 days per visit. A visa is still required for non-tourism purposes or longer stays, and foreigners staying more than 15 days must register at their place of stay.
According to the sources, the measure significantly simplifies short-term entry for citizens of the four countries but does not replace a long-term visa or residence permit. For people planning a move, visa-free entry can serve only as a limited initial stay, while longer residence requires the appropriate immigration status to be arranged. The rule is particularly relevant to citizens of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain, as well as holders of residence permits from those countries and Qatar who can obtain a single-entry 30-day tourist visa on arrival. Anyone planning travel during the stated period should pay attention, while the regime will need to be checked again after February 15, 2027.
